Born from more than 25 years of working in the city and its region, and shaped by a decade of living here, Mijn Rotterdam is rooted in a deep, lived connection with the place I now proudly call home.

As a Brabander by birth, Rotterdam offered me something different: space to grow, to make and to reinvent. A city where possibilities outweigh expectations, and where creativity thrives in raw, unpolished authenticity.

Rotterdam is a city of makers, where architecture meets attitude and stories unfold in the rhythm of the port. From iconic landmarks to hidden corners, from cultural institutions to neighbourhood gems, every district carries its own pulse. Mijn Rotterdam is not a guide, but an invitation: to experience the energy, resilience and uncompromising character that make this city unlike any other.

Featuring curated Google Maps locations and a specially written e-book, Mijn Rotterdam offers a carefully selected journey through the city's most inspiring places: design driven hotspots, waterfront-views, creative ateliers, and local favorites thad embody Rotterdam's true spirit.
